Y-Live and LEGC Rock Youngstown with Kid Rock, Lee Brice, and Buckcherry

Lake Erie Golf Cars (LEGC) opened a new retail golf car dealership in April of 2022 and have since embedded itself in the community through various charity events. We like to have a little fun too! So, when we heard about the Youngstown concert, we quickly signed up!

What is Y-Live?

Y-Live is a concert that is in its fifth year and features rock n' roll icon Kid Rock as the headlining artist. Special guest artists included Lee Brice and Buckcherry. In the past, the artists have been able to bring in other superstars like Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Florida Georgia Line. 

Y-Live 2023 Recap

On July 29, 2023, Kid Rock took the stage to the roaring cheers of over 20,000 fans at Wean Park in downtown Youngstown, Ohio. The skies teased the event planners as they scanned the radars all week. It was "an amazing success again," according to VP of JAC Live, Ken Bigley. The city and planners took significant measures to ensure they could adequately manage traffic flow into the city despite construction being a concern. It paid off, as the event went as smoothly as expected. 

The Effect of the Y-Live

The concert was great, the atmosphere was what you would want, and the night was peaceful. You couldn't ask for much more, but the concert has an overlapping effect. Bars and restaurants saw a significant boost in traffic and revenue during the event's weekend. The increase helped since the decline of traffic due to road construction.
