Lake Erie Golf Cars has hundreds of new and used EZGO golf cars. These golf cars are used for courses or for retail and every model you can imagine is available. With that said, it makes us difficult when looking at different models and some of their accessories. We will be looking at rear seats specifically in this blog to help you know the difference so you can get the rear seat you need for your golf car.

Premium Rear Seat

The premium rear seat that comes standard on new golf cars like the Express S4 and L6. This folding rear seat is constructed of a heavy-duty plastic and has some unique features that make it stand apart from other rear seats. First, you may notice the cup holders for your favorite beverages. Second, the seat is more contoured to fit your body and is denser than other makes. Once you fold open the seat, the differences are more noticeable. The flat bed area has a measuring area, which has become popular with fisherman and DIY projects.

There is also a built in cooler area to store ice and beverages, which includes a drain. You can also use it for dry storage on those rainy days. You will experience less noise with this model because it is made of plastic instead of metal.

Standard Rear Seat

The standard rear seat is constructed of metal and provides many of the same benefits as the premium version. Your golf car will look a little different but have a sturdy durable seat with multiple uses. The seats mount in the same fashion but the standard rear seat does not have the cooler insert available. There are some models that have a wire basket that mounts inside of the storage compartment. You can speak to your sales staff about that option.
